As we were on vaction last week, we stopped in to visit Mike's grandpa. He is the most humble man I have ever met. I love his stories, his actions. As we were walking through his home, i started to pictured my husband as a little child running through the halls and out the backdoor. I could picture all of the small details in this home that truly makes it a home. The doorknobs are all the same, round yellow and have been in the house since it was build back in the late 1800's. The house has so much history to it. I started to capture some images as I my eyes started to water. All the memories that my husband were sharing with me made me think of my grandpa. We as children look up to those whom inspire and educate us on lifes lessons. This man has lived a long, happy humble life with the one he loved. He is loved more than he will ever know. These pictures are dear to my husband and I. Im so glad I took the time to learn about my husbands childhood and family history through these images... enjoy!
